How will my games get determined?

For this listing, you would offer to purchase a certain number of games and tickets from the Season Ticket Licensee. The actual games and tickets you would get would be determined at a later date using the the following method:

Online Draft
New partner will participate in Online Draft. Draft will be held at a time and date agreeable to the majority of partners. Draft picks will be based on the number of games each partner is purchasing. Draft Order will be set fairly giving all partners a pick in the first round and the remaining picks will be fairly determined based on the proportion of games owned by each partner. The Draft Order shall NOT unfairly benefit or harm any partner(s). All games and tickets shall be included in the draft.

That sounds good to me. Once my offer is accepted, I'll be in contact with you regarding payment.
  • Steve, FYI I accepted your offer (which as I noted below is acceptable for just 6 games).

Would you be willing to sell 6 games instead of 8? If so, from your experience, how fast do Friday night games go as that would be my preference for games (not worried as much about the opponent)?
  • Steven, I likely will be willing to sell 6 games. As far as the Friday night games, in my experience selections are based not on day/time of game, but rather on who the opposing team is for the game (e.g. Boston and Mets games tend to go very quickly). The only exceptions to this that I have seen are that afternoon weekday games tend to not be popular because of conflicts with work, and some people prefer weekend day games so they can bring their kids. Based on this I would expect that you should be able to fill your allotment with Friday night games.

I am looking for weekday day games (fly away games) and Sat day games. For a total of 8-10 games Are the seats in the shade? thanks
  • Jerry, the draft will include all games with the exception of Opening Day and Old Timers Day. The way I've held the draft in the past is that we "draw straws" to see who picks first, second, third, etc. All ten participants then select one game per round, with the order of selection being 1 - 10 in the first round, 10 - 1 in the second round, and alternating thereafter for the remaining eight rounds. You therefore will be able to select weekday and Sat day games that are still available when you select in each round. In my experience people typically choose games not based on day/time of a game, but on who the opposing team is (for example, Boston and Mets games tend to go quickly). The one exception to this works in your favor -- because of work obligations people tend to not want weekly day games regardless of who the opposing team is. Based on this, I would expect that you should be able to fill your eight selections with the type of games you're looking for. The "sun-field" is the third base side, and my seats are on the first base side, first row aisle seats right above the Legend seats. For a day game there is sunshine at the beginning of the game, and as the game progresses the shade from the Stadium progresses downward starting from the back rows and gets to my front row seats between the 3rd - 5th inning depending on the time of year.
